Ofsted is the Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services and Skills. Ofsted regulate and inspect schools and colleges to seek improvement in the service. They carry out large number of inspections and regulatory visits in England and publish their finding on their website.

Key Stage 1 Results 2022-2023

Number in Cohort= 18

NB – 2 out of the 14 children were disapplied due to special educational needs with EHCP.

Key Stage 2 Results 2022 – 2023

Number in cohort = 13

The reading, grammar and maths tests are marked externally. Writing is assessed by the teacher and for 2023 - 2023 was moderated the Local Authority.

Y1 Phonics Screening Check 2022 – 2023

The Phonics Check occurs in June every year for all Year 1 children. Children read 40 real and pseudo (made up) words to test their phonics decoding ability. The pass mark is usually 32 and results should be reported to parents.  If a child does not meet this 'expected standard', they are tested again in Year 2.
