Our Unit
We are thrilled to have children join us on their early learning journey. At this pivotal age, we focus on fostering children's development in a nurturing and playful environment. Our approach emphasises learning through play, as we believe this method best supports the holistic growth of young children.
Our Objectives:
-
Talking and Listening: We do fun activities to help children talk and listen better.
-
Making Friends: We encourage children to play and interact with others to make friends and learn how to get along.
-
Thinking Skills: We provide activities that help children think, solve problems, and learn new things.
-
Feelings: We create a safe space for children to understand and express their feelings.
-
Confidence: We help children feel confident to try new things and explore new places.
How We Achieve This:
-
Play-Based Learning: Through structured and unstructured play, children learn about the world around them in an indirect yet impactful manner.
-
Supportive Environment: Our team is dedicated to creating a warm and supportive atmosphere where children feel safe and valued.
-
Individual Attention: Recognising that each child is unique, we tailor our activities to meet their individual needs and interests.
We are here to support both you and your child during this exciting time. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us. We look forward to an amazing journey together!

Always Learning
When you're out shopping, you can help your child learn by exploring their surroundings.
Ask your child to point out food items they may recognise from home. You could begin by introducing your shopping list by saying, "We need bread and apples".
When you arrive at a specific aisle ask them to point out one item.
It's ok if they don't get it the first time. Encourage them by asking a follow-up question such as, "I think I can see the apples, can you see them too?".
