All About Me...
My name is Mrs Croney. I have been a teacher at Collierley Nursery and Primary School for 4 years.
I have been a teacher for 6 years. My first teaching job was in Year 1 at Bowburn Infant School. I completed a year in Reception and then moved to Collierley Primary in 2019 to teach KS1.
My Story
My favourite subjects to teach are English and Computing. When I was younger, I played tennis for Durham and Cleveland. I was ranked Number 1 in under 14s and under 16s. I was very lucky to travel all around the UK and Europe to compete in tennis tournaments. One of my greatest achievements was playing at Wimbledon for an under 14s competition. I was also lucky enough to be offered a scholarship to study and train in America however I turned it down as I wanted to stay near my family. Here is a picture of me playing tennis when I was around 9 years old.
As you all already know, I live with my dog, Vinny the Goldendoodle. Vinny has just turned 1 and still acts like a big puppy. I love to take him on long walks. He has grown so much that when he jumps up, he can put his paws on my shoulders. I know I am biased but I think he is so cute! What do you think?
